Streamlining melamine coating – Charging
Fixing melamine film accurately on the material to be coated (mostly chipboard) is difficult and time-consuming. Creases, folds and air bubbles are everyday occurrences.
Static charges prevent the film from slipping. The result: perfect bubble-free coating of the board with higher production speed and less waste. |

Ionizing and cleaning workpiece carriers before populating them with highly sensitive components – Discharging
Workpiece carriers made of insulating plastics become statically charged while traveling through various production stations and attract particles of dirt and dust. This can lead to problems when the carriers are populated with components. Before they are populated for the next production step, the carriers are run through the Static Combicleaner which, in one operation, discharges them of static and cleans off any particles stuck to them. |

Discharging and removing dirt jand dust from three- dimensional plastic components before varnishing them – Discharging
If particles stuck to molded plastic parts are not removed before the parts are varnished or coated, they can lead to a reduction in quality by impairing wetting properties and forming pockets of dirt and dust particles. As the plastic components enter the spray booth, the Static Combicleaner cleans them thoroughly, using a combination of pulsating air and discharge electrons, before the parts are coated. The result: a perfect coating. |

Ionizing and cleaning plastic components machine – Discharging
Highly sensitive plastic components such as windows for cellular phone displays not only have to be free of all contaminants, but also discharged of static, before they can move on to the later processing steps.
Via handling system the plastic components are passed through a combination of R35 flat blow nozzles. There, ionized air discharges the surfaces and thoroughly cleans the parts of all dirt and dust particles. These are then vacuumed out at the opposite side of the line. |

Discharging static in the film packaging – Discharging
Unrolling and opening the film sleeve at the packaging machine causes the film to become electrostatically charged.
This makes it difficult to open the film sleeve. The result: during the packaging process, production is disrupt again and again. After the film sleeve is unrolled and opened, the electrodes Series R50/R51A discharges it of static on both sides. After the electrostatic charge has been eliminated, the film sleeve can be pulled over the product easily and fully automatically. |
